Tamekia Slaughter Promoted to 1st Lieutenant

Tamekia (Nikki) Slaughter has recently been promoted to 1st Lieutenant of the US Army. Slaughter was the VA representative in the Buffalo Veterans Court for many years. Judge Robert Russell and Mentor Coordinator Jack O'Connor are shown below pinning her Lieutenant Bars to her uniform.
